Comparable to HVAC filters rated MPR 2200-2400, our MERV 13 furnace filters are manufactured with a heavy duty, moisture resistant beverage board frame. The media is electrostatically charged to attract unwanted particles, and it does not promote the growth of bacteria or mold on the air filter. These filters are better at trapping airborne particles than fiberglass filters.
