Nordic Pure MERV 12 Plus Carbon air filters provide dual-layered filtration, combining MERV rated material with a carbon layer. This unique combination effectively eliminates unwanted odors and captures airborne dust and particulate matter, ensuring clean and fresh indoor air. The activated carbon material attracts and holds odorous gases and vapors (VOC), while maintaining optimal air flow.

Our pleated air filters are constructed with a heavy-duty, moisture-resistant beverage board frame. Additionally, a metal mesh support grid is bonded to the pleats for added reinforcement. The filters utilize permanently electrostatically charged material, acting as a magnet to attract and retain dust. Furthermore, our anti-microbial air condition filter media prevents the growth of bacteria or mold, promoting a healthier indoor environment.

Comparable to air filters rated MPR 1500-1900, our MERV 12 Plus Carbon air filters are designed for maximum efficiency and economy. It is recommended to replace the air filter every 30-90 days to maintain peak performance.

It is important to note that the nominal size printed on air conditioner filters may differ from the actual size. Therefore, we advise customers to measure their air filter for the exact size and compare it to our "Actual Size" for a proper fit. The nominal size of our filters is 20 x 30 x 1, while the actual size is 19 3/4 x 29 3/4 x 3/4 (19.75 x 29.75 x 0.75).
