Nordic Pure MERV 10 Plus Carbon air filters are specially designed with a dual material construction that fuses MERV rated material with a carbon layer, resulting in 33% more surface area and reduced flow restriction for cleaner, fresher smelling air. These filters are effective in eliminating unwanted odors and trapping airborne dust and particulate matter to provide a healthier living environment.

The activated carbon material in our filters attracts and holds odorous gases and vapors (VOC), while maintaining excellent air flow properties. With each pass through the pleated furnace air filter, the air quality in your home or office improves. Our high efficiency activated carbon AC filter helps eliminate smoke particles, lint, household dust, pollen, dust mites, pet dander, virus carriers, allergens, bacteria, mold spores and other contaminants. All Nordic Pure pleated air filters are manufactured with a heavy duty, moisture resistant beverage board frame and a metal mesh support grid for extra support.

Our air filters use permanently electrostatically charged material that acts like a magnet to help dust cling to the air filter. Additionally, the anti-microbial filter media will not permit the growth of bacteria or mold, resulting in a healthier environment. These MERV 10 Plus Carbon air filters are comparable to air filters with a MPR rating of 900-1000 or FPR rating of 7, and exceed the performance of non-electrostatic fiber-glass filters, washable filters, and poly disposable filters. The lifespan of your AC air filter depends on the indoor and outdoor conditions in which you live. It is recommended to regularly change your furnace air conditioner filters, especially during home improvements, to ensure clean and fresh air. Nordic Pure recommends changing 1” air filters every 30-90 days to maintain maximum efficiency and economy.

It's important to note that almost ALL furnace filters have a different "actual size" than the nominal size printed on the air conditioner filter. Measuring your air filter for the EXACT size and comparing it to our "Actual Size" will ensure that your A/C air filter fits. The nominal size of our filters is 10 x 20 x 1, while the actual size is 9 1/2 x 19 1/2 x 3/4 (9.5 x 19.5 x 0.75).
