Nordic Pure MERV 10 Plus Carbon air filters are constructed with a dual material in which the MERV rated material has been combined with a carbon layer. This combination effectively eliminates unwanted odors and captures the majority of airborne dust and particulate matter, resulting in fresh, clean air. The activated carbon material is capable of attracting and retaining odorous gases and vapors (VOC), while still allowing for excellent air flow properties. All Nordic Pure pleated air filters are produced using a heavy duty, moisture resistant beverage board frame, with a metal mesh support grid bonded to the pleats for additional reinforcement. The air filters utilize permanently electrostatically charged material that acts like a magnet, aiding in dust adherence to the filter. Additionally, our anti-microbial air condition filter media prevents the growth of bacteria or mold, creating a healthier environment.

The MERV 10 Plus Carbon air filters are comparable to those with a MPR rating of 900-1000. For maximum efficiency and economy, we recommend changing your air filter every 30-90 days. It's important to note that the "actual size" of most furnace filters differs from the nominal size printed on the air conditioner filter. We advise measuring your air filter for the exact size and comparing it to our "Actual Size" to ensure a proper fit. The nominal size of our filters is 20 x 30 x 1, while the actual size is 19 3/4 x 29 3/4 x 3/4 (19.75 x 29.75 x 0.75).
