Nordic Pure MERV 10 Plus Carbon air filters feature a dual material construction, where the MERV rated material is fused together with a carbon layer. This unique design helps to eliminate unwanted odors and trap most airborne dust and particulate matter, resulting in fresh, clean air. The activated carbon material is effective at attracting and holding odorous gases and vapors (VOC), while still maintaining excellent air flow properties. Additionally, all Nordic Pure pleated air filters are constructed using a heavy duty, moisture resistant beverage board frame, with a metal mesh support grid bonded to the pleats for added support.

Our air filters utilize permanently electrostatically charged material, which acts like a magnet to help dust cling to the filter. Furthermore, our Nordic Pure anti-microbial air condition filter media prevents the growth of bacteria or mold, creating a healthier environment. The MERV 10 Plus Carbon air filters are comparable to air filters with a MPR 900-1000 rating, and we recommend changing the filter every 30-90 days to maintain maximum efficiency and economy.

It is important to note that the "actual size" of most furnace filters differs from the nominal size printed on the air conditioner filter. Therefore, it is best to measure your air filter for the exact size and compare it to our "Actual Size" to ensure a proper fit. For example, the nominal size of our filters is 20 x 30 x 1, but the actual size is 19 3/4 x 29 3/4 x 3/4 (19.75 x 29.75 x 0.75). By measuring your air filter for the exact size and comparing it to our actual size, you can be sure that your A/C air filter fits properly.
