The Nordic Pure 20x25x5 Trion Air Bear Replacement Pure Carbon Pleated Odor Reduction air filters have an actual depth of 4 7/8". Made with a durable non-woven polyester base media infused with naturally derived charcoal, these filters are designed to eliminate odors in your office or home. Our pleated design provides three times as much carbon media per A/C filter while maintaining excellent air flow. The Pure Carbon air filters are manufactured using heavy-duty, moisture-resistant beverage board frame with 2 strips of foam tape on 2 sides and a metal mesh support grid bonded to the pleats for extra support. These activated carbon, odor eliminator Pure Carbon AC furnace filters can be used as a stand-alone filter or as a pre-filter in high-efficiency commercial HVAC units. They remove levels of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) from household cleaning products. For maximum odor control, we recommend replacing your air conditioning filter every 3-6 months. The nominal size is 20 x 25 x 5 AB, while the actual size is 19 3/4 x 24 1/4 x 4 7/8 (19.75 x 24.25 x 4.88). They are effective at absorbing odors, VOCs, and capturing airborne particles from indoor air.
